Who is Tasha "Lil' Queen"?



Latasha Powell better known to everyone as Tasha Lil' Queen is a jade of many trades. She's a comedic dramatic actress, radio host, singer and musician. Tasha began her comedic-acting actress at an early age by imitating saints at her church. She enjoyed the reaction so much she continued to perfect her craft by joking the Drama Ministry and taking training classes with writer & director, David E. T Albert and acting coach, Wendy Mckenzie. Latasha has performed in multiple stage plays, live concerts, Netflix & Amazon Prime television and films and special events. Tasha is the creator of her two characters Momma Murphy, a hip old school grandmother and Brother Akbar, a street smart church thug, She is also the recipient of the 2017 Church Stars Award for Best Supporting Actress in a stage play. Her musical abilities have allowed her to sing and play keyboard in front of numerous crowds at various churches. In 2018, Tasha became a radio personality (Hots) for a new Internet Radio Podcasting Station, The Love Zone USA founded by the late Mike Thomas. Loving her hosting opportunity, In 2019 Tasha joined Philly Jamz 95.3 FM with two new radio shows, The Turn Up Show with Co-host Rissa Chant'e and The Hip Hop Christian Connection. A proud mother of two, Tasha Lil' Queen is a force to be reckoned with. Despite her success, Tasha still remains humble and passionate about her many gifts.
